Class Notes Update

Historically, Xavier’s Class Notes has been featured in our Connections magazine. In a conscious effort to go green and maintain Xavier’s STEAM goals, Class Notes is now available online. Similarly, in order to maintain continuity as well as keep our community informed the featured notes will be updated twice a year (January and July). As the feature note is updated the prior will be archived as a viewable PDF available at all times. Class Notes featured prior to May 2017 are available through our Office of Alumnae Relations and are physically archived on campus in the Xavier Archive.

Mary Kate Cunningham was promoted to senior vice president, Public Policy at ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership.

Amanda Martin Zinger and husband Matt welcomed Piper Steel on October 5, 2020.

Kristen Preach Jones and husband Ryan welcomed Hunter Scott on April 20, 2020.

Andrea Sutton lives in Denver, Colorado and is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Henry Middle School.

Stephanie Barnes joined the Phoenix Police in May as a reporter for the Public Affairs Bureau. Stephanie recently relocated from Buffalo, NY.

Jackie Sheely has written a book entitled WHAT’S the THING with QUARANTINE? The main character, “Q”, learns what it means to be safe by staying home, social distancing, and washing your hands! Jackie lives in San Francisco.

Gael Connolly Gilliland has written The Legacy Recorder Community Guide and was recognized as a finalist in Pittsburgh’s The Author Zone Book Awards. The Guide is a handbook to help others write their life story.

Lauren Anne Ferrigni graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU and is currently working as an Associate at Fennemore Craig Law firm. Her speciality is natural resources, energy and environmental law.
