Xavier Crew competes well at Desert Sprints Regatta

Congrats to Xavier Crew for an amazing performance at the Desert Sprints Regatta this past weekend!

Thanks to Sister Lynn and Sister Kathleen for coming out to support us, and to faculty staff and friends, Mr. Mirando, Mrs. Beazley, Mrs. Gannon and others! Our whole team competed well!

We won gold medals with 1st place finishes in the Women’s Youth Single with Cara Schillinger, the Women’s Masters Pair with Cara and Miranda Papez, and in the women’s youth 4 with Gizelle Medina, Miranda Papez, Cara Schillinger, Abby Pearson, and Sarah Strickbine.

The team also won gold with first place finishes in the Women’s Youth Quad with Haley Strickbine, Cara Schillinger, Norah Dentz, and Sydney Hertzberg as well as in the Freshman Four with May Yates, Cara Boyle, Sophie Robaina, and Ella Boyle.

Additional medals were awarded to the Womens youth 4, Womens youth doubles, Womens youth quad, the freshman 8, and freshman quad.
