Current School-Closure Plan says NO GATORS IN SPORTS through at least March 27

March 14, 2020

On Saturday, March 14 — in an effort to bolster the prevention of the spread of the COVID-19 virus among the Xavier community — the school administration announced the move to a distance-learning model beginning Thursday, March 19. The faculty and staff will spend the first three days of the week preparing for the Thursday implementation of that distance-learning model.

Consequently, Xavier will not be engaging in any athletics activities — practices, competitions, etc. — on or off campus until at least March 27.

The Xavier athletics web pages will be updated in a timely manner in accordance with future announcements regarding the state of Xavier athletics beyond March 27.
