The #2 Gators faced the #15 Chaparral Firebirds in the first round of State on Tuesday, 4/29, on Xavier’s home court.
After completing the six singles matches, the team score had Xavier ahead 6-0, relegating the three doubles matches moot. All six Gators won their matches 2-0.

Xavier plays #7 Corona del Sol in the State Quarterfinals next Tuesday, 5/6, at Xavier. The Gators beat the Aztecs 8-1 in their regular season match-up in early March.
Division 1 State Team Championship Bracket
Prior to next Tuesday’s Quarterfinal match-up, the State Singles and State Doubles Tournaments will have been played. They will be played simultaneously this coming Friday (Rounds 1 & 2), Saturday (Quarterfinals & Semifinals), and Monday (Final).
