The JV Soccer Gators kicked off the New Year with an away win at Mesa on Tuesday afternoon.

With Giovanna Gage filling in at goal keeper, the plan was to keep the action in the attacking end and the Gators were able to do that. Lots of chances did not yield a lot of goals, but Kierstyn Boyd did find Quinn Osborne available in front of the goal to smash in the one score of the match. Riley Cothern and Anna Rains had solid performances in the midfield. Kate Jorgensen and Annie Rosendahl helped anchor the back line in keeping another clean sheet for the Gators.

The final score, a 1-0 win. Go Gators!
