Last night, Xavier brought a 3-0 record to the table for their home badminton battle with the Pinnacle Pioneers. In their first three contests, the Gators had won 8-1, 9-0, and 7-2. Pinnacle decided to change things up by giving Xavier their first loss of the season.

Prior to the match, Coach McNerney predicted a score of 5-4, and the victor could realistically be either team. He was right: 5-4.
