Rio Salado College and Xavier College Preparatory are partners in Dual Enrollment -- a program that provides the opportunity for ambitious high school students to earn both high school and college credits during regular school hours.
Honors and Advanced Placement courses are offered in most disciplines beginning freshwoman year. In addition to the core subjects, elective courses are chosen from a wide variety of curriculum areas such as: Fine Arts, Digital Arts, World Languages, Social Studies, Science, Theology, Family and Consumer Resources, Accounting, Journalism, Ceramics, Chinese, Criminal Law, Maker Class, Sculpture, and Sports Medicine.
Xavier’s guidance counselors help students recognize their strengths and guide students to achieve their goals over their four years at Xavier. Counselors work to develop each student’s individuality, sense of responsibility, personal initiative, and leadership. By working closely with faculty and parents, counselors assist students in achieving their highest personal and scholarly potential. In most cases, the student works with the same Guidance Counselor through her senior year.
