Team scores were not kept at the Cummins Swim & Dive Invitational last Friday and Saturday (September 27-28) at the Skyline Aquatic Center in east Mesa.
So how can I say the Gators overpowered the other teams? Let me count the ways:
- Xavier won all three relay races.
- Xavier won seven of the eight individual swimming events.
- Xavier finished four Gators in the top five in the 100 Backstroke (the first 3 were Gators).
- Xavier finished four Gators in the top six in the 200 Free.
- Xavier finished four Gators in the top seven in the 200 IM and 500 Free.
- Xavier finished four Gators in the top eight in the 100 Free.
