Pride and Prejudice

Xavier/Brophy Theatre is proud to present the US Premiere of Tom Wood’s new stage adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice.  This well loved story takes place in 1813 England.  Five daughters anxious to find five husbands learn about themselves, their family, others, and the debilitating nature of ever present pride and prejudice in their restrictive culture.  The tale itself, however, is universal.  We all are unsure in love, we all make fools of ourselves and regret actions and words.  And we all follow the path of finding our true selves along the way, amid many mistakes.  Like all great romances, Pride and Prejudice invites us to enjoy deep characters and happy endings.  This play will not disappoint!
