PLEASE NOTE:  Pictures will NOT be accepted if they include the following:                     

* Inappropriate Clothing (Even child/baby pictures): tank tops, bare shoulders or midriffs, strapless, sleeveless, spaghetti straps, low cut, or bathing suits

* Inappropriate or Suggestive Text: slang, initials, acronyms, nicknames (name abbreviations are allowed, ie: Katherine to Kat)

* Other: inappropriate gestures or facial expressions, face painting or messy faces, outlandish hairdos, and scotch tape or white out

* Copyrighted material (ie: Disney, sports teams, photographer symbols etc.)

* Logos or writing on clothing, hats, etc.

The above rules are non-negotiable. Should we find any pictures inappropriate or not fitting the above guidelines, we reserve the right to return them for modification or to modify them without notification. 

HELPFUL HINTS:

�œ collages can be too cluttered
�œ leave space around each photo
�œ check spelling
�œ use legible font sizes and colors
�œ no borders

AD TEXT:

AD text must be typed - handwritten text will not be accepted.

Arrange the pictures and ad text on a blank sheet of paper according to the size of the ad as shown on the attached sample sheet.  MAKE SURE THEY ARE THE CORRECT SIZE.  Use a small amount of glue. No scotch or masking tape.

If you wish to purchase an AD for the yearbook this cost is in addition to the publication fee, which is included with the September tuition payment. Please follow these directives when turning in your ad:

ADVERTISING CONTRACT:  This contract must be filled in completely including:

• Advertiser's name (person submitting ad)
• The names of all students within the Ad
• Student name
• Student homeroom
• Student ID Number

MONEY:  Payment for AD must be either CASH (exact amount) or CHECK, payable to Xavier College Prep, and enclosed in the white envelope. The contract must be attached to the white envelope.

Pictures will not be returned.

TO TURN IN THE AD:

• Fill in all information on attached envelope
• Put check made payable to Xavier College Prep or cash in envelope
• Attach ad and contract
• Return to Mrs. Kelly Hubbard in PAC 204 or F200, by September 17th.
