Dear Prospective Xavier Student,
Thank you for your interest in Xavier College Preparatory. The choice of the right high school is a very important decision for you and your family, and we encourage your serious consideration of Xavier as you begin to evaluate your options.
As a Catholic school for young women, Xavier offers a unique environment with an outstanding college preparatory curriculum. In 2008, we are celebrating our 66th year of the Xavier tradition of excellence that has been the hallmark of our school since the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary opened the school in 1943.
A young woman who becomes a student at Xavier becomes part of our community and our family. We are dedicated to our mission of preparing our students with the skills, integrity and confidence they will need to meet the demands of a constantly changing global society.
But Xavier is also a community that is dedicated to the pursuit of more than academic excellence. Our students continue their learning outside the classroom through their participation and leadership in a precedent-setting community service program, the performing arts, championship athletic teams and the more than 60 clubs on campus.
As they participate in all aspects of their Xavier experience, both in and outside the classroom, our students broaden their life experiences as they grow spiritually, intellectually and emotionally. Our caring and committed faculty challenges and supports our students as they encourage them to explore and expand their interests, knowledge and talents in their pursuit of excellence.
We welcome you to visit the links from this website to get to know us better as well as our admissions process. Fill out the inquiry form if you would like to receive our printed materials and, if possible, please attend our Open House on Sunday, November 2nd, 2008.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Paula Petrowski
Director of Admissions
