Welcome to Xavier College Preparatory!

When Xavier opened its doors 67 years ago, the Founding Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the 17 students who registered for classes were Arizona pioneers. Since, Xavier has been a place of discovery and achievement for more than 10,000 young women as they continue to explore new frontiers in science, technology, communication, athletics, the arts and their own faith formation.

Over the past six decades, Arizona and Xavier have grown up together. Students from more than 120 grade schools from across the Valley thrive in an environment that offers first-rate faculty, facilities and programs. Yet, Xavier remains a community-centered school, a safe and nurturing environment where teachers challenge their students and care about their development in addition to their success; where parents celebrate their role as partners in their daughters’ education and are models of service; and where an active alumnae base provides a dynamic support system and career network for each other and for new graduates.

On this website, you’ll find information about Xavier’s students, faculty, programs and alumnae, in addition to opportunities for voluntarism, career networking and parent involvement. Whether you are a prospective student or parent or are revisiting your alma mater, I hope you’ll consider www.xcp.org the first step toward a life-long relationship with Xavier.

In Faith and Gratitude,

Sister Joan Fitzgerald, BVM , Principal
